Ever since then, London continues to thrive & it has stayed one of the biggest cities in the world.

London is a fabulous location for tourists, especially as its got so many museums and art galleries. these include the Natural History Museum, which first opened in 1881. This fabulous museum boasts sometimes exciting exhibits, comprising of the renowned replica diplodocus skeleton, often known as dippy, which is displayed in the museum's central hall. Another fabulous exhibit is the skeleton of a blue whale, which weighs a massive ten tons and is exhibited in the large mammals hall.

London is renowned for its shopping, which means that you'll find everything from kooky independent shops and markets, to designer shops.

One of the city's most renowned shops is Selfridges, which is on Oxford street. It was 1st opened in 1909 by Harry Selfridge, who wanted to make shopping lively rather than just a chore. He succeeded & the store now has four other branches in various cities throughout the uk.

Needless to say the fashion in London is some of the perfect in the world. there are countless nightclubs, live music venues, elite cocktail bars, relaxing pubs &Michelin starred culture to enjoy.
