When you book cheap all inclusive holidays you will know exactly how much you will be spending before you go away. Most people are lured to self catering because the starting price looks very reasonable, however, they forget about the cost of living whilst they are actually on holiday.
The cost of eating out in some resorts is usually quite reasonable, depending on the exchange rate, but some resorts can be quite expensive meaning some people find themselves spending more than they bargained for on food and drink, adding to the overall cost of your holiday. So it is worth taking a closer look at all inclusive deals rather than instantly dismissing them as too expensive.
All inclusive will include your flights, transfers, accommodation, food, drink and at most resorts; entertainment. The facilities you receive will depend on how much you pay for your all inclusive holiday, some resorts use local branded alcohol to keep costs down where others have popular brand names and some even offer free ice cream all day.
Some resorts have just a couple of restaurants to choose from, while others will have a bigger selection. Some resorts will serve free drinks up to 11 or 12pm, but others will serve them free for 24 hours. The more facilities you get, the more you will pay, but most cheap all inclusive holidays will have evertyhing you need for a perfect break.
Some sports, beach and pool games are included and are usually lead by the in-house animation team. Creche facilities are usually charged extra, but kids clubs can often be included at larger resorts, you can find this out before you go though.
There are no hidden extras or nasty surprises on all inclusive holidays, you know exactly what you will be getting for your money before you go, meaning you can work out your budget to the last penny, the only thing you will need to buy whlst there is postcards and souvenirs!
So its worth taking a moment next time you are ready to book a holiday, to check whether self catering really is your cheapest option, weigh up how much you are likely to spend while you are there, then compare it to some of the cheap all inclusive holidays on offer, I bet they don't end up costing as much as you think.
