Seattle is the largest city in the Pacific North West region of the United States.

Space Needle offers a panoramic views of the city and surrounding area from its restaurant at the top.
The shopping scene in the city is as diverse as its neighbourhoods. University District is mainly known for its second hand and vintage stores with the citys two largest ones located on the same block of University Way. Belltown holds numerous home decor and furnishing stores with most of the citys architecture and advertising agencies located by their side. Visit Capitol Hill if you are looking for a rare record or this season mens fashion. Ballard is where you will find boutiques inspired by Paris, a garden design studio full of exotic plants, stores devoted entirely to handbags created by local designers and many more unique places to shop.
Belltown is filled with lounges, restaurants, pool halls and bars that make this a centre of Seattle night life. From club Venom on Western Ave, Belltown is a clean, safe neighbourhood where there are plenty of things going on in the evening. Within walking distance of downtown, Belltown is a great place to spend an evening dining and dancing the night away at the best Seattle dance clubs.
The Seattle Centre is one of the areas better known landmarks, this Jetson esque attraction affords breathtaking views from its observation deck. As a boon to squinting visitors, detailed maps provide exact locations of sights found within the bounds of its panoramic vista. The centre also hires between job actors and comedians to accompany visitors on rides to the top, entertaining them with en route facts and fun. It is rare that questions are posed which the guides can not answer.
Smith tower the tallest building in Seattle, the circa 1914 Smith Tower still fascinates observers with its wonderful views. The original brass and copper elevator cars carry you up 35 stories to an open air observation deck where you are granted fantastic views of Seattle and the surrounding mountains. The towers Chinese Room makes for an interesting diversion. Adorned with carved woods and Asian furnishings, the room also features the Wishing Chair, which reputedly has the power to grant women who sit and ask to be married their wish within the year.
