The Baths are a natural set of rock formations and caves in the Virgin Gorda island of British Virgin Islands. The crisscrossing range of caves, rocks, grottos and ravines are all located in the sea. One can easily explore this natural wonder by hiring a canoe and through snorkeling. The beauty of the Baths is simply indescribable in words.

Bioluminescent Bay, Puerto Rico

Bioluminescent Bay is located in the Vieques region of Puerto Rico. It is actually a narrow bay rich in one-celled protozoa. These bacterias are unique in the sense that they emit light when disturbed by humans during night. If you swim in this bay on a moonless night, you would find little glowing bulbs on the beach and this phenomenon will take you by surprise.

Bonaire National Marine Park, Netherlands Antilles

This natural park provides excellent opportunities to observe the diverse wild life of the Caribbean. The park is rich in coral reefs and other marine structures that provide excellent breeding grounds for marine life. You can scuba dive, watch whales and sharks and research on the diverse marine life of the region.

The Pittons, St Lucia

The Pittons is the largest volcano in the Caribbean region. Actually, it is a formation containing two volcanoes. The Pittons is a tourist hot spot, as they can climb these relatively small volcanoes (with 2619 feet in total height).

El Yunque Rain Forest, Puerto Rico

Another Puerto Rico landmark, this land forest is the biggest in the Caribbean. Additionally, the diversity in wild life and exploration activities are simply endless. There is also a rich variety of plants, including some unique ones that cannot be seen in other places.

Soufriere Hills Volcano, Lesser Antilles

This volcano is the most violent one in all the Caribbean region. It became active in 1995 and since then has destroyed its surrounding areas. You can hire a ferry to view this natural wonder from a distance.
