Torrevieja, on Spain's lovely Costa Blanca is a resort that is very popular with tourists from Spain and the rest of Europe as well. It is no wonder; it is only forty minutes from a convenient airport in Alicante, and within an hour's drive of other Costa Blanca resort areas such as Benidorm. This lively town is aglow with energy and its own unique atmosphere. You will definitely enjoy Torrevieja sightseeing; there is no end to the things a visitor can see and do here. Whether you come alone or with your family, you will find attractions and entertainment that will suit all of you. During the day or after sundown, there are so many things to choose from. The weather is warm and sunny all year long and, though most of the tourists come during the summer, if you care to visit during the quieter spring or fall, you will still have good weather, and avoid the crowds at the most popular attractions.
You may be tempted to lay on the beach or by your hotel pool and just soak up the sun in Torrevieja, but you should allow yourself some time for the other activities that make this spot so ideal for a vacation. Try golf, strolling around the beautiful town and seeing some of the wonderful sights.
There is so much to see and do, as a matter of fact, that organizing your itinerary is mandatory. Make sure you leave time to visit some of the towns in the surrounding areas, which have beautiful beaches with azure water, stunning lagoons and tropical greenery. While this natural beauty fascinates you, don't omit all of the historical sites and cultural attractions the area has to offer. After your busy days, you will also be amazed at the amount of nightlife you can choose from. Bars, pubs, great restaurants and dance clubs all await to entertain you during the balmy evenings. This region is truly blessed with both natural and man made attractions for the tourist to enjoy. Besides the beaches on the sea, there are lakes, spas and leisure parks for all the family to enjoy. Have a mud bath or go to a water park for something different.
Visiting this paradise does not have to be expensive. If you put together a package with an inexpensive hotel and a discount airfare, you can do it very cheaply. There are many airline deals and you can shop around for a hotel or even an apartment at a reasonable rate. Just try the Internet or a travel agent and see what you can come up with. You may not care about how fancy it is since you will be out and about all day and night anyway! Lower cost airfares and hotels, especially if you travel outside of the popular summer season, will leave you with enough money to spend on all of Torrevieja' many attractions.
