Two cathedrals can also be found in Cork City, namely St. Mary's Cathedral and the Church of Ireland St. Finbarre's Cathedral. If you want a more homey view of Cork City, then you can visit The English Market, which traces it origins back to 1610. As presented with these attractions, you should not fail to visit any of them and if you have limited time, why do the visiting on foot? Just board a car, enjoy the different cultural sights of Cork City and take pictures of some of the most beautiful sights there is.
The River Lee flows through the city and much of the city has many bridges and you will be crossing these very often as you travel around it. A number of the streets are actually build over former channels where ships used to traverse.
Cork City is a great place to start when visiting Ireland and you will find that there is a lot to do and see in this beautiful city.
