Mactan airport. Sitting here and waiting for boarding flight 5J 564 of Cebu Pacific Air. I choose to be on this flight for 1 reason. This is the cheapest plane and the cheapest tolerable schedule which is 9:45 AM. The cheapest of the day is actually 1,100+ but with additional crap fees it will balloon to around 1,700 probably. Just like my ticket the Cebu Pacific website says it is 1,600+ but after paying all those additional fees it ballooned to 2,200+ Even the seat plan I have to pay 100 pesos! Plus 200 for the terminal ticket in which I do not know why they are asking for such fee. Are we really obliged to pay the terminal fee? Anyway, that is another story.
So now while I am composing this blog, the announcer is calling our attention to stand on our feet and head to the queue for boarding. Oh! not yet my flight. I just heard it clear that it is the Gen. Santos’ trip that is ready for boarding.
Navigating through the clouds of passenger’s faces I could see different people reflecting different status in life. Businessmen, housewives, teenagers male and female. Old ones and young ones. I wonder where they are going. Are they leaving there places or they are going back to their places.
For me it is leaving Cebu for a couple of months. Three to five months. I am expecting I will have my Christmas vacation in another country. I feel lonely of course. But as I have always said, at least I have another story to tell when I get old. Life if boring without its spices. Without it you will not have any story to tell when you get old.
Now its time for me to board flight 5J 564. Ciao!
