Great Nightlife and Shopping to Experience in Birmingham

Birmingham is the 2nd largest city in the uk & it is a really modern location with lively nightlife and some exciting opportunities for shopping. Birmingham is situated in the west midlands &, according to a estimate from 2006, it has a population of 1,006,500.

People that are from birmingham are often known as 'Brummies', due to the city's nickname of Brum. this name comes from the city's dialect name, Brummagem, which is originated from one of the city's earlier names, 'Bromwicham'. there is a distinct Brummie dialect, which is characteristic of people who are from this city.

Whether you are visiting brum for a day trip or staying in the city for a short break or short holiday, you'll find many of insightful things in the city to explore during your stay.

Whether you want to stimulate your mind at one of birmingham's museums or you are arranging to join in with a cultural or sporting event, the city really has things for everyone to enjoy.

One of the best things about Birmingham has to be its great museums, galleries and attractions which are lively & educational for the whole family. one of the finestis Dudley Zoo, which is situated next to dudly castle & has some wonderful animals that are set over 40 acres of beautiful greenery.

Birmingham has a busy city centre that is packed with top high street stores, so its a fabulous place for shopaholics to visit. however, hardcore shoppers may rather visit the city's Bullring shopping centre. in actual fact, the Bullring is enormous & has 160 shops, including some fabulous brands including principles, superdrug & schuh. it has also has a massive Selfridges shop & over 25 restaurants, which means that you can genuinely spend the complete day there.

If you are lucky enough to be spending the night in Birmingham, you should make the most of the city's playful night life. The city has everything from quaint pubs & exclusive cocktail bars to massive nightclubs, which means that you'll find that there's things for everyone to enjoy.

Needless to say birmingham has branches of much major hotel chains including comfort inn & radisson sas. This means that you can wind down after your big night out with a great sleep.

As it's situated in the heart of england, getting to birmingham is easy. birmingham new street rail station offers regular rail connections to and from various places throughout england. in addition to this, it is also easily accessed by road.

If you'd like to fly to Birmingham, you may fly into Birmingham International Airport. The airport is just 5.5. miles from city centre birmingham.
