How to Beat the Recession With a Vacation Rental

As the gloomy global economic outlook continues to fill the airwaves people are looking at ways to enjoy their usual annual vacation for less money, but without compromising on quality. The answer is simple - book a vacation rental. A vacation rental offers all of the luxury and quality you would expect from a high-class hotel, but at a fraction of the price.

For a party of up to ten people, an Italian or French villa rental offers exceptional value. Costing less than $750.00 (£500) per person - which would not even buy two nights in a hotel equipped to a similar standard in such an exceptional location - a villa holiday not only offers significant savings, but the opportunity to relax and escape the day to day pressures of life.

True quality villas on the Cote d'Azur, or Tuscany, and elsewhere in France and Italy, come with private pools, maid service, and among other facilities, the options to hire chefs (for one meal or for full catering) and babysitters.

They will all benefit too, from a wide range of "home from home" comforts such as English speaking satellite TV channels, internet access, dishwashers, full laundry facilities and proximity to wonderful countryside or to interesting, peaceful or vibrant local towns and villages. Of course it goes without saying that the most popular villas will have their own private pools, and often Jacuzzis, ensuring a perfect opportunity to make the most of the Mediterranean summer sunshine.

Many families already recognize the benefits of villa vacations and return year after year to enjoy a first class holiday experience in a vacation home, at far from first class prices.

People of course choose villas in France and Italy for reasons other than value for money. Increasingly, independent travelers prefer the individuality offered by the villas they rent. It would be possible to spend a holiday in these countries every year of your life and still find different villas in quite different locations, each offering their own unique holiday experiences.

Some villas sleep only two people, others especially the larger Chateaux or castles can sleep up to 24, but what they all have in common is the ability to offer a backdrop to a holiday in a wide variety of stunning locations which will be memorable both for the ambience and for the holiday.

Of course everyone's ideal holiday will vary......some people will prefer action; others inaction. Some will want to be by the sea, others will prefer the town or country. The great advantage of a villa vacation is the variety of locations available, and of course the knowledge that with the right choice of quality supplier, your accommodation will complement your holiday choice and ensure a perfect time is had by all!

So for an enjoyable and cost effective vacation in these credit crunch times think about a French villa holiday. For less than $750.00 (£500) per person per week for a party of ten, you could be enjoying a luxury five bedroom, four bathroom villa in one hectare of grounds with a large private swimming pool, covered pool house, boules court and a tennis court (tennis lessons are available too of course) and only 15 miles from Nice or Cannes! That has to be a value for money proposition in these turbulent times!
