Hires can be booked for time ranges from 24 hours to 7 days. It is important to understand before booking a motorbike for hire that there are rules to keep in mind. The top rule is the age limit. All riders must be over 25 and have a valid Queensland motorcycle license. Thrill Ride offers you an amazing experience that comes with a lot of responsibility. To ensure safety, a good ride and an enjoyable experience, there are some important details that you should keep in mind. These details cover costs and responsibilities you have when you hire a motorbike in Brisbane or the Gold Coast.
There is a $100 booking fee. This is a non refundable fee as Thrill Rider has to book in a delivery driver as soon as you book. At the time of delivery you pay the agreed upon difference between the booking fee and price charged for hiring the motorbike. You will also fill out liability forms and provide copies of your identification.
If you are over 25 years of age there is an excess of $1500 which is pre-authorised against your credit card before you take possession of the motorcycle. For those between 21 and 25 years of age, the insurance excess is $1700. All safety gear is included in your motorbike rental costs.
You need to be aware that you must have bond pre-authorised on your credit card and have 100 ID points available. If you are visiting from another country, you must provide your passport and are still required to have a driver's license which allows you to operate on Queensland roads.
