I want to go to the coast but where?

My family and I like to visit the coast but everyone has a slightly different idea about what a great coastal location should be. Thus, each member of the family can go to a specialist site around the topics of interest but the difficulty comes when trying to bring all the research together.

This is the problem that resulted in the creation of www.coastradar.com which is a site that describes the coast based on people wanting to visit and do different activities. You can jump to a location and just look at a map or you can preform more focused coastal activity searches. Once a good area has been found then the website allows you to look at possible coast accommodation.

The site is aimed at people that just don't know the region with detailed reviews on beaches and a whole community which is linked to the Coast Radar facebook page and application to allow real people who have visited to provide the information and review the locations.

Coast radar consists of:

  • Beach guide
  • Accommodation guide
  • Activity, places of interest and tourist attractions guide
  • Kite bag (sports equipment shops) guide
  • Services guide including sport instruction and a guides
  • Weather
  • Community allowing visitors to comment and add details
  • Photo gallery
  • Detailed search technology by place name or area or entries containing any text

In summary this site is ideal for the new visitor to an area that wants a match to a variety of activities and interests. On a side it also allows for local businesses to place information in front of very relevant website visitors at an affordable price.
