La Palma

One of the most peaceful and tranquil of the seven Canary Islands, La Palma is a favourite among tourists for its natural unspoilt beauty. Situated just off the coast of north-west Africa, La Palma is part of a group of islands that benefit from year round warm weather.

La Palma is a very popular tourist destination with regular flights available from plenty of UK airports. Being warm all year round, the island of La Palma makes an ideal winter destination for those who crave some winter sunshine. Choosing off peak holiday times also guarantees you the chance of getting some great deals on cheap flights.

If you are after a holiday that is full of exciting nightlife then La Palma is not the island for you. It's an ideal location for older couples or those who want to get away from everything to enjoy some real peace and tranquillity. It's also a great island to use to explore the other neighbouring islands as there are frequent ferries that sail to Tenerife from the Port of Santa Cruz de La Palma.

The year round heat of La Palma makes it a great location for those who enjoy spending most of their days sun worshipping. The island has black lava sand beaches, but the waters are renowned for their clarity and hence make it ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving.

For those who want to relax then La Palma is a perfect island. It's a place where you can do as little or as much as you want, and if you do happen to crave some night time excitement then the neighbouring island of Tenerife is only a short boat ride away.

There are plenty of flights available year round to La Palma, and depending on when you travel, some great deals to be had.
