Learn Cooking At El Arrayán In Puerto Vallarta

They are offering a set of cooking classes to sizzle your life this summer.

Every month, on particular days a few participants will be able to join the skillful Chef Mariano Valdez, Carmen Porras and their entire team for a tasteful breakfast. They will also visit the local purveyors and gain superior cooking instructions. Whatever these participants learn to cook will later be devoured by them. So what can be better than this? Great cooking tips accompanied by great food!

To enroll in this marvelous endeavor, where you will learn the traditional cooking styles and dishes of Mexican cuisine the fee is only $85 USD in cash which would also include the ingredients. Over the years El Arrayán has offered many cooking classes and their fee structure has remained the same. In this fee you will be provided with breakfast, the ingredients, comfortable and air conditioned transportation facilities, printed recipes that you can later take home, a complete delicious meal with unlimited amounts of cocktails and a beautiful embroidered apron. The best part is both locals and even the tourists can take part in these classes because they are conducted in English.

The schedule of the classes till September 2009 is as follows. The first class has already been held on the 28th of July 2009, on Tuesday. It began at 10 a.m. and finished around 3:30 p.m. In that class participants learned how to make Mushroom and Zucchini Blossom Soup, Classic Mole Poblano, Red Rice and Cajeta Flan. How does that suit you? The next class will be held on the 18th of August on Tuesday again at the same time which is from 10.00 a.m. till 3.30 p.m. In this class you will learn how to make the delicious Fish Ceviche Guerrero, Almond Mole with Pork, White Rice and Candied Yams.

The last class will be held on the 22nd of September on Tuesday at the same time. On the 22nd you will learn how to make the mouth watering Ceviche Colima, Chile en Nogada and Flan de Chocolate. Imagine…all of these delectable treats… and you would know how to make them. That is going to be simply fabulous.

El Arrayán since the year 2003 has made its place in the hearts of many customers around the Banderas Bay. It has developed a recognized reputation for itself which aims at providing yummy yet traditional Mexican Food. During the course of the previous classes that were hosted by this restaurant, each participant learned not only great cooking techniques but also enjoyed amidst great food, jovial people and chefs. Through this “Slow Food Movement” El Arrayán is trying to instill the knowledge and education pertaining to taste and presentation amongst the people of Puerto Vallarta.
