London Has a Wide Variety of Cocktail Bars

London is a historic city & the capital of great britain.

Although multitude people expect all the people of london to be cheerful cockney characters straight out of Dickens, nothing could be less accurate. in fact, London is a diverse place that boasts residents of all nationalities & religions. for this reason, it's estimated that more than 300 different languages are spoken in the city.

London has a rich history that goes back over 2 000 years. around this time, the city has expanded to become one of the financial & cultural capitals of the world. it has also suffered from the plague, devastating fire, civil war, and terrorist attacks.

London suffered especially within the second world war. It suffered bad damage from bombs within this time and numerous of thousands of children in the city were evacuated out to the greenery to avoid the bombs. The most severe bombing took place between 7 September 1940 and 10 May 1941.

London is a fantastic location for tourists, particularly because it has got so many museums & galleries. these include the Natural History Museum, which first opened in 1881. This fantastic museum boasts a few wonderful exhibits, containing the well known replica diplodocus skeleton, often known as dippy, which is displayed in the museum's central hall. Another fantastic exhibit is the skeleton of a blue whale, which weighs a massive ten tons & is exhibited in the large mammals hall.

The shops in london are some of the finest in the world. From designer outlets to independent outlets, there is something for everyone in this enormous city.

One of London's most famous stores is Hamleys, a enormous toy shop on Regent Street. it's a major tourist attraction & gets 5 million visitors each year, many of these people visit at christmas. boasting an impressive 7 floors, the toy shop caters for everyone, from babies & toddlers to grown-ups!

London has a wide variety of things to do at night, containing vip cocktail bars, night clubs & museums.

London's museums cater to every funds & taste. From cheap eats love Pizza Express, Pizza Hut & Bella Italia, to high end museums, you'll be spoiled for choice. The city also has a wide variety of Michelin starred museums, which include Tom Aikens, Umu & Gordon Ramsay at Claridges, although you'll have to book well in advance to get a table at one of these locations.
