Norway

Norway always reminds you the famous classic book”The Forest of Norway”. There are many mountains, on the halfway of which villages are lie in. Forest of Birches and Fires are so close to each other, but both of them are not as surreptitious as primitive forests and also not as profound as the feelings of writer. Norwegians love forests. Either are the forests owned by public or individual, according to law, people must reseed seedlings after cut in a limited period.

Norwegians go to forest as usual as us go to Square on weekends. They take a stroll in forests, and go fishing, pick mushrooms and wild fruit in deep forests, or climb mountains. I heard that there is a cable in deep forest with a mailbox in front of, people who put the money in it, then he can stay. He will clean the house and put a bouquet of wild flowers in the hall when leaving, which is used to greet the next guest.

In reality, in capital Oslo, with the population of 500,000, the forests and green lands account for 75%, which become a model that North Europeans have harmonious relationship with nature. Oslo means “the Valley of God” in original and “piedmont plain” as well. Oslo lies next to the winding Oslo Bay, seen from the top, which is surrounded by ocean and forests.

Municipal Construction of Oslo pays attention to keep deep color of the Middle Ages and unique character of North Europe. There are many buildings with 6-7 storey instead of skyscrapers on both sides of the street, around of which are straight lawns and various flowers which are so beautiful in the sunlight. Compared with cities of West Europe and South Europe, the people on street is much fewer. It is so common to see many people drink coffee in open-air Cafes casually and take a break in parks serenely. Walking through Oslo, I found that it has the sceneries and landscapes of villages which is also an character of North Europe.

Built in 19 century, the White Palace stands on the flat hill which locates in the center of city. We arrived at the Palace at dusk. It impressed us a mysterious feeling that the nearby illuminated Palace against the sunset glow. For more information about traveling; please have a look at http://www.affordable-cruises-tours.com.
