Rude, Long waits

We double confirmed a 4pm reservation, but they told us without an apology and in a rude manner that we were delayed 30-45 minutes. We decided to wait 30 mins, but it then became another 30 minutes and we didn't want the tour in the dark. They would not refund our money and we had to rebook. Everyone we talked to in the waiting room was in the same situation with Liberty. Familes from overseas were waiting 2 hours and their kids were getting restless and upset. From our conversations, I gathered that everyone had booked well in advance and that the company just overbooks as a policy and then makes people wait 1-2 hours. This is not only a bad policy, but the staff is so rude and unapologetic that the whole thing becomes a big turn-off. We really don't want to go back to this company, but since they wouldn't refund us, we have to. There is another company in the same building that was running on time and doesn't even book tours once it is dark. Everyone using their service looked happy and excited. Everyone in the Liberty line looked miserable.
