The mere mention of Tulum conjures images of Mayan Ruins and magnificent beaches. But, is there anything beyond these popular places that is worth discovering?
After spending three days in and around Tulum, the answers came to me. Think of discovering a world-class Tulum hotel accommodation, serene island retreats, beautiful nature walks, indigenous cultural encounters, sumptuous food and even wild plants that can be seen only in Tulum.
Named after the 3 enormous walls and a steep cliff which surrounds the obtruding civilization, this wall house was given the honorary name of Tulum, the walled Mayan City. It is located in the east coast of Yucatan Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea, in the state of Quintana Roo, and just an hour South of Cancun, Mexico. Tourist that have gone to Tulum shares that a place to stay is not a problem because many Tulum Hotels and Ecological resorts, from fancy to rustic, lined up the highway and the coastline.
Tulum Hotels Zone is a section of the coastline where around 60 Maya-designed hotels provide accommodation. The Zone directly leads to the Tulum archaeological site and the Sian Ka’an Natural Reserve. Downtown Tulum Hotels offers great value deals for accommodations. Tulum pueblo has a collection of small hotels located in the heart of town or close to the mayan archaeological site, which offer greater mobility to the traveler who wants to explore the mayan culture or the surrounding cenotes and parks. In fact, due to their location, hotels at the town or pueblo may offer a more comfortable stay and other conveniences.
But for tourists who want a homey ambience that may not be found in ordinary hotels in Tulum, a list of private Tulum vacation rentals like villas, condos, and houses are also available. So whatever type of accommodation is required by visitors, one can surely find a suitable place to stay. All that is left for a tourist to do is enjoy the sun and the sea.
In Tulum, one will get close to nature. Nature lovers will enjoy the scenic pathways leading to a thick lush forest and the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy soaking up the sun which is visible even from a distant shore, beckons like a siren to explore its waters teeming with life. The beach is very wide to explore as it stretches for miles and one can indulge in peaceful retreats.
Finally, in Tulum hotels, visitors can feel that they are surrounded by nature, history, and art where everyone can just relax and revitalize. All Tulum hotels offer accommodation that will surely enchant visitors from around the world.
