Some Tips for Hassle Free Traveling

If you are someone who has the travel bag always ready, here are a few tips to enlighten you to making your traveling hassle free and enjoyable.

Packing your baggage: The utmost important rule about traveling is to travel light. Never ever carry items in your luggage which you may never use. Firstly depending upon the whether you are going for a holiday or a conference meet, etc. you need to make a note of the things that you need to carry.

Always make a handbag in which you make keep the items that you may need frequently. You may carry the following items in your carry-on bag: one set of clothes, napkin, slippers, shaving kit, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap or face-wash, any valuable items like jewelry, any reading material, wallet with cash but minimal credit cards, medicines, cap/sunglasses, make-up kit, snacks, etc.

In your main suitcase, fill up your clothes. Now, choosing proper clothing is also essential to travel light. Try to carry clothes depending upon the number of days you are going to stay; carry wrinkle-free clothing so that they do not get crumpled in the baggage while transportation.

Carry extra set of undergarments and socks instead of carrying exactly the number of days you are going to stay. Try to carry a common color for trousers like black so that any color shirt or top can go with it. Also, carry dark colored clothes so that even if they get soiled, it will not be so prominent.

Carrying shoes can be really troublesome as they occupy a lot of space and are bulky. Hence, carry only two pairs maximum with slip-ons to wear in the hotel room. Keep some spare money in your main suitcase. Keep a first aid kit handy with medicines for headaches, nausea, Diarrhea, etc. Women should not forget to carry sanitary napkins in their luggage.

Shove the packets in the corners of the suitcase to avoid using up space. After carefully packing your belongings, do not forget to lock your suitcases and keep the keys in your handbag. And the last step in packing your bags would be to put identification stickers on each and every bag. To be more cautious, you may also put the stickers inside the bags incase the outer tags tear off.

For foreign travel: Take a photo-copy of important documents like passport, visa, identification card, etc and keep one set in your handbag, one in your suitcase and another with your family or friends back home. Carry the originals in your handbag. Also carry a few travelers checks and local currency of the place that you are going.

Making hotel reservations and rental cars: Before leaving your home make sure that you have made and confirmed your bookings at the hotel where you are going to stay. You may also hire a car for easy traveling in foreign land. By confirming these two things, you can be rest assured that you will not have to go hunting for transportation and rooms after the tiresome journey.

Electronic items: in case you are carrying your laptop, make sure that you have backed up all your data. Also do not ever store passwords or access information on the machine. Do not check in your laptop or keep them in the overhead cabins. Make sure that you keep your laptop in clear view.

And lastly, the key to make your traveling fun and hassle-free is in enjoying every bit of it. Do not fret about minor issues and carry a good and happy attitude while traveling !

Hieroglyphs were called ‘mdjuh ndjer’ – the ‘Words of the Gods’ – quite obviously invented by its priests to tally the taxes, plan the grand temple projects and – why not – document the achievements of pharaohs and the virtues of the Gods.
