A hotel review of a luxury resort and hotel called Royal by Rex Resorts on a beachfront vacation for your consideration, before booking your St Lucia vacation
Searching for a St Lucia Vacation in a well established beachfront location, all suite luxury resort and hotel, then this hotel and resort review could well help you come to a decision about the Royal by Rex Resorts.
A four star 98 roomed luxury hotel it is situated six miles north of the capital Castries on a lovely golden sand beach.
One of the great things you will find at Royal by Rex Resorts is the attitude of the staff. Everyone there is not only friendly but also very helpful, the rooms are kept immaculately, even spraying for mosquitos when the beds are turned down in the evenings is a very thoughtful touch.
Being an all suite resort it is great that there are separate living areas as well as patios overlooking either the gardens or the Caribbean. So often what is described as a suite is just a larger room, and if you book the Grand De Luxe Suites then the sundeck is big enough for private dining which adds a romantic element. As you would expect in a luxury resort and hotel the bathrooms are superbly kitted out with all the top class bits and pieces you have a right to expect.
The facilities at the Royal by Rex Resorts are exclusive, and top class, from L'Epicure an elegant fine dining and award winning restaurant to the more relaxed and casual eating at La Nautique where you will unsurprisingly given its name seafood, and Caribbean specialties.
The Royal Spa has an outstanding reputation, and the fully equipped Cybex Fitness Club is there if you want to try to maintain your fitness levels whilst destroying your efforts in the restaurants and bars!! Most sensible people however will spend their vacation lazing around on the long stretch of private beach or around the immaculate La Mirage pool with tumbling waterfall and swim up bar. If you want some exercise then there is a decent range of watersports off the beach including sailing, snorkelling windsurfing, and waterskiing or further afield there is diving, fishing, tours of neighbouring islands, or very definitely St Lucia itself.
As a luxury resort and hotel the Royal by Rex Resorts can fulfil most people's ideal holiday, and the comments made by guests confirm this, with a very high return rate even by Caribbean standards. Listing them will probably indicate as much as anything why the Royal by Rex Resorts can call itself a truly luxury resort and hotel
Very clean beach area and sea, with more than enough sun beds and umbrellas. The beach food is of high quality, as is the bar food by the lovely pool which has a good swim up bar, and then good value, good quality happy hour cocktails. A lovely beachfront location with immaculate elegant well manicured grounds.
The most accurate comment made was possibly that whilst Royal by Rex Resorts isn't a top boutique hotel like La Ladera , and it certainly isn't an action packed all inclusive, what it is is a luxury hotel and resort in its own right which deserves a high rating in any St Lucia Resort Review.
