The Copper and Lumber Store Hotel with fourteen rooms is a unique Caribbean Inn which is actually a restored historic warehouse dating from the time when Horatio Nelson's English Navy ruled the seas. The Copper and Lumber Store Hotel has two restaurants, the Wardroom Restaurant styled like an old English Dining Room, and the Mainbrace Pub, opening from breakfast onwards through lunch. The Dockyard being home to yachts from all over the Caribbean, means a real nautical flavour in the pub.

Because of its dockyard situation The Copper and Lumber Store Hotel has enough to see and do around the area for a few days, but you will want to rent a car to get out and about. Nelson's Dockyard itself has been meticulously restored and is quite fascinating. Another thing it is important to realise that the whole dockyard area is very secure, so you can feel very safe, although to be fair the locals always seem very friendly and willing to help visitors.
