The gold peacock denotes that the silk is Royal Thai Silk, made from native silkworms and hand woven. Royal Thai Silk is of the highest quality and hence the consumer will have to pay a higher price. The silver peacock means that the silk is made from specific breeds of silkworm and hand woven. The blue peacock denotes that material is made from pure silk threads but no specific mode of manufacture is defined and the material may come in many colour variances.
