The City of Orlando

Introduction:
The population of Orlando was estimated to be 262.5 by the United States census bureau. The region Orlando occupies is generally low-lying, the only exception being minor sand hills. In the lake country the sand hills are found primarily in the western sections of the metropolitan area.

Orlando city has 115 neighborhoods in the city limits:

Metropolitan area:
The majority population lives outside the city proper like most metropolitan areas in Florida. Orlando is in the center of the four metropolitan countries, orange, Osceola, Seminole and lake countries, Oviedo, in Seminole country. Clermont and Poinciana are the fastest growing cities in the United States.

Transport:
The new LYNX central station is along the garland avenue between Livingston Street and Amelia Street.

Air transport:
There are three airports namely, Orlando international airport,
sandford international airport, and Orlando executive airport.

Roads:
There are highways which make travel by road easy. The interstate 4 and the east-west expressway (SR 408) are the two highways. The traffic congestion is a growing concern for the Orlando people.

Rail:
The rail road stations which exist in Orlando are:
Amtrak Orlando station.
Atlantic coast line railroad Orlando station.
Sea board air line railroad Orlando station.
Buses:
LYNX is one bus service which runs in the tri-country area.

Light rail:
As there was not much interest from the public light rail system has been a failure in Orlando. Walt Disney world officials were very adamant about a lightrail running from the international airport to the resort.

Economy:
A large part of the Orlando economy/finance in involved in the tourist industry. The orange country convention center expanded in to an exhibition space and hosts the most convention attendees in the United States. The area also includes many other industries other than tourism. Many apartments have been turned into independent houses, due to which many people are facing problems.

Culture:
There are lots of Hibic residents in the city of Orlando, similar to other Florida cities Miami and Tampa. Orlando is home to one of the nations largest and rapidly growing Puerto Rican communities. The bish language music is quiet common in Orlando station. The Orlando magic basketball team is the only team in the NBA to have a Latin night. Many Puerto Rican flags can be found on the buildings and cars. There is a news paper called the EL sentinel.
