Situated in the heart of Grand Baie; this luxury hotel in Mauritius is in a fashionable, modern town with plenty going on: shopping opportunities, nightclubs and plenty of evening entertainment and for the young at heart, there are plenty of sports to take part in.
Le Mauricia has recently undergone extensive refurbishment; all rooms have a fresh new look with gorgeous modern bathrooms. All rooms have an ocean facing view and have partial views over Grand Baie from private terraces or balconies.
The hotel is situated in North West Mauritius and approximately 47 miles from the airport. There are 237 rooms at Le Mauricia and 2 restaurants (Les Quais & Le Nautic), catering for both all inclusive and half board guests.
Les Quais is the larger of the 2 restaurants (seats 400) and serves breakfast and a la carte lunch, it also overlooks one of the pools. In the evenings you can discover something new at the themed buffets served from 'live' cooking stations. Dress code in the daytime is casual and in the evening is smart casual. Buffet style Breakfast is served between 0730 - 1000, a la carte lunch from 1230 - 1500 and buffet style evening meal from 1830 - 2130.
Le Nautic has a particularly intimate atmosphere when night falls - it is the smaller of the 2 on-site restaurants. Le Nautic is a great location for dining with a view as it is positioned close to the pool and also by the fabulous beach. It's open for a la carte lunch and either table d'hote or a la carte dinner. Dress code in the daytime is casual and in the evening is smart casual. Lunch is served from 1230 - 1430. Dinner is by reservation only and is served between 1930 - 2130.
La Mauricia provides entertainment every night, whether it be a resident band or a show, there is something for all tastes. There is also an on-site nightclub called "La Rhumerie" for those who want to dance until the early hours.
For those who want to give something new a try, there are many free land and water sports available to participate in at the hotel. Waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing, glass bottom boat trips, snorkeling, kayaks and pedal boats are all complimentary for guests. The hotel also offers free weekly group windsurfing and sailing lessons.
Le Mauricia has 3 floodlit tennis courts, table tennis, volley ball and bocciball all of which are free for guests. Mountain bike hire is also available.
The wellness centre at Le Mauricia has a relaxing hammam and also provides sauna and massage treatments, perfect to pamper you or couples alike in this quiet serene area luxury hotel in Mauritius.
For the little ones there is a complimentary Bob Marlin Mini Club run by qualified professionals to keep them occupied and out of trouble! Bob Marlin Mini Club welcomes children aged 3 - 12 years. The children's club at Le Mauricia is open from 9am - 9pm, 7 days a week! There are also babysitters available at 24 hours notice for times outside these hours.
