Things to do in Llandudno

There are so many things to do in Llandudno it’s a great idea to stay for a few days to experience everything Llandudno and its surrounding area has to offer. Llandudno is the beautiful seaside town situated on the North Wales coast. Thousands of people every year visit Llandudno to explore all its glory and visit neighbouring towns like Conwy, Bangor, and Rhyl.

Firstly Llandudno has its beautiful long promenade which is laced with Victorian Llandudno hotels. This then leads on to Llandudno’s pier which is again Victorian built in 1876 and stretches 1,234 feet. The pier is full of entertainment for all the family including cafes, bars, and souvenir shops.

Llandudno also has its famous Great Orme. The Great Orme is a huge limestone which is situated at the end of Llandudno. You can enjoy a cable car ride to the summit or a tram ride. At the summit you can experience breathtaking views which stretch across the North Wales cost or visit the Bronze Age Copper mines.  The Great Orme also has a ski slope with a toboggan situated next to a tradition pub with refreshments and good food.

Llandudno is also known for its shopping. It has a beautifully Victorian shopping centre and high street which is surrounded by Victorian architecture. Here you can shop for all types of things. Just round the corner from this Llandudno now has its own shopping park which offers shoppers the latest high street names and fashion.

Llandudno has the Venue Cymru, which is a huge newly re furbished theatre. Here you can enjoy a fantastic performance in music, ballet, pantomime, opera, and musical. If you are visiting Llandudno it’s a great idea to tie in a show, as you won’t be disappointed.

Llandudno is also within a close distance of Snowdonia, Conwy, Caernarfon, and Rhyl. These areas are a must see when your in North Wales so be sure to stay around in Llandudno long enough so you can visit these areas.
