This building was always called Casa Mila but today it's more commonly known as La Pedrera, which means literally means "quarry". Gaudi was instrumental in completing this special building with his characteristic and unique colourful tiles mixed with wavy brickwork.
If you are a beach enthusiast, be sure to book hotel accommodation adjoining one of Barcelona's 7 beaches, which totals 4.5 kilometers of its coastline. The Sant Sebasti and Barceloneta beaches are both 1.1 kilometers in length, and are the oldest, biggest, and the most visited beaches in Barcelona.
