Travel Dubai

Renowned across the globe as one of the richest cities in the world Dubai is fast becoming one of the hottest tourist destinations in the East and it is easy to see why with its endless collection of unique attractions ranging from bizarre and record breaking hotels to experiences such as sand surfing and camel racing.

As said it is the individual qualities of Dubai that are drawing so many visitors from the West to its Eastern shores. However, another major factor in Dubai becoming a popular tourist destination for Westerners is the fact that is now more accessible than ever. Currently a number of airports and airlines up and down the UK offer a range of flights to and from the city all at affordable prices. Such flights and offerings allow more and more people to visit the city that they otherwise would never have got to see. For those that do get to visit this wonderful state it is essential to sample some of the unique activities that cannot be done elsewhere. I personally believe that one of the best activities to take part in is sand surfing; there are few places in the world where you will get to try this sport so this is an opportunity not to be missed. The sport is basically as it sounds and involves strapping yourself to a board and surfing down sand dunes trying not to fall over. The sport can be great fun but falling over can hurt quite a bit!

Perhaps one of the most original features of the state are the hotels in Dubai, most notably the Burj Al Arab, built in the shape of a ships sail and constructed on an artificial island. There are a number of top quality Dubai hotels although many can be very pricey. However, if you want to get the most out of the Dubai experience it is recommended to stay in one of the top hotels in Dubai.
