Public transportation is available at the airport. There is a bus running directly from the Alicante airport to Benidorm. It runs four times each day. Another option is the train which runs from Alicante to Benidorm, but note that the train does not connect at the airport. You will need to take a bus to the train station located in the northern part of Benidorm's harbor area. The train is rather convenient and runs several times each day.
