Tulum is becoming the most preferred tourist destination especially for those who want to escape the rat race in everyday life. This town is full of diversity and treasures. To know Tulum well is to wander around the whole place and find the secret pathways to its old soul.
Tulum was confined on one side by steep limestone sea cliffs and on the landward side by a wall that averaged about three to five meters in height. The wall also was about eight meters thick and 400 meters long on the side parallel to the sea. The part of the wall that ran the width of the site was slightly shorter and only about 170 meters on both sides.
Tulum is simply beautiful and just by standing on the Mayan ruins, overlooking the beaches is a wonderful experience. Tulum is situated between the crystalline, white-sand beaches of the Caribbean Sea and the flourishing tropical jungle, the only Mayan city that was ever built next to the ocean.
Heading to the south of Tulum Pueblo, the famous cenotes can be found. Cenotes are sinkhole with exposed rocky edges containing groundwater which have provided freshwater to the land inhabitants. Cenotes, particularly in Quintana Roo often offer access to extensive underwater cave systems. With this, scuba divers were curiously interested to explore the said caves. Even though this is a sport that requires a much more specific training, it is absolutely worth exploring the rock bottom of these water wells surrounded by jungle.
Travelers from around the globe are discovering Tulum Mexico as a destination for adventure. A lot of tourists are considering a trip to purchase Tulum Properties. To be able to visit Tulum is very unique experience. The most important to bring during your vacation is your curiosity and sense of adventure.
