Spain has been a popular destination for holidaymakers for many years. People are attracted to the relaxed atmosphere, the sunny temperature, vibrant culture, exotic food and the warm sandy beaches. Of course, certain parts of Spain are far more appealing than other parts, depending on the individuals taste and expectation. For example, Madrid attracts those after a more cosmopolitan culture, whereas Majorca attracts those looking to relax more on the beach and enjoy the scenery.

With the property market rising, Javea has become a safe haven for many retired Brits. Javea property market has been the key subject of this attraction, for some British people to settle in this region. Prices are affordable and the property is built at a high standard.

Javea is a seaport situated on the Costa Blanca, one of the most popular destinations due to its magnificent views and beautiful beaches. Reputed as the hot spot, Javea property is one of the reasons why many visit. The property markets in this region are priced between 175000 Euros for an apartment and 320000 Euros for a villa, making it more affordable than the Costa Del Sol.

However, the Javea property market is not just seeing the British people flock to its feet, but also many other people of various parts of Europe. Research has shown that people are not only attracted to the sun, sand and sea, but also the opportunity to make a sound investment in Javea. Those who own a property in Javea, can expect to make between 500 - 700 Euros a week from just renting in the Summer and Autumn season.

Furthermore, Javea property market value will continue to rise as the government have made headways into building golf courses, luxury villa complexes (complete with restaurants, bars and other facilities) and lifestyle resorts. Therefore Javea has the added bonus of being affordable for those looking to buy overseas, but also providing the added bonus of allowing people to live a regal lifestyle.

Javea has easy access to Alicante, Valencia and Murcia, which includes regular bus services to each destination and a daily coach service to Madrid. Three main festivals take place each year. Fogueres de San Juan is celebrated in June, which commemorates the arrival of summer solstice. Moros y Cristianos (July) is a much more noisy and colourful parade that celebrates the defeat of the Moors by the Christian army in 13th century. Finally, Nuestra Senora de Loreto (September) is probably better known for its famous bull running against the walls and fireworks display - a tradition popularly associated with the Spanish culture.

Locals can also enjoy a range of recreational activities, including cycling, mountain trekking, sailing, diving, swimming, bowls, photography, golf, horse riding and trekking. Javea offers a number of rental shops that cater for each of these activities for everyone.

Costa Blanca means White Coast in Spanish. It probably got the name from the numerous bays overlooked by white cliffs dotting this region. This coastal area lies between DÈnia and Pilar de la Horadada on one side and Orihuela and valleys of the Marina Alta on the other. Salubrious climate, exhilarating Mediterranean breeze and mouth-watering Spanish cuisine make this a hot spot destination on the tourist map. Javea is the most well known town in this region.
