Why Stay at a Jamaica Family Resort?

Are you in the process of planning a Jamaica family vacation? If so, you are lucky. Most parents would love the chance to take their children to Jamaica. With that said, there is a lot of planning you will have to do. Planning family vacations isn't always as easy as it sounds. After all, it can be hard to please children. So, how do you ensure both you and your children have a great Jamaica family vacation? By staying at a family resort.

As nice as it is to hear that you should stay at a Jamaica family resort, you may have questions. What are family resorts? How expensive are they? Why should I stay? If these are questions you want answers to, please continue reading on.

1 - Onsite Facilities

A Jamaica family resort is not only a resort where individuals of all ages are welcomed, but it is a resort that caters to families just like yours. Whether your children are toddlers, teenagers, or somewhere in between, they will not experience a moment of boredom. It is common for family resorts to have onsite game rooms for tweens and teens. Kid sized swimming pools are common for young swimmers. And, most beachfront family resorts not only have a playground, but a beachfront one!

2 - Scheduled Events

If kid friendly facilities, such as a small swimming pool, game room, and playground, weren't enough, how about scheduled events? They are common with Jamaica family resorts. These events are prescheduled, available for all guests, and age appropriate. At the Starfish Trelawny Resort and Spa, toddlers can get their pictures taken with Sid the Starfish and enjoy an hour of kite flying and playground fun. Young school aged kids can enjoy a KidFit Cardio workout and go seashell hunting. Tweens can enjoy a game of miniature golf or feed the fish.

At most Jamaica family resorts, scheduled events occur daily from 9am until 5pm.

3 - All-Inclusive

Not only are most Jamaica family resorts designed for families like yours, but most are all-inclusive resorts. As a parent, this can do wonders for your trip. All-inclusive family vacation packages include the cost of food, drinks, tips, room, and some forms of entertainment. For you, this simplifies the planning process. One big travel arrangement takes care of most of your trip. And, since the most of your trip is paid for in one lump sum, you can actually enjoy your vacation, instead of worrying about going over the vacation budget!

4 - Childcare Services

In terms of childcare, you may be thinking "but I am on a family vacation!" Yes, you are. That doesn't mean you and your spouse can't enjoy a little bit of free time or romance. After all, Jamaica is literally a tropical paradise. So, enjoy an afternoon relaxing on the beach or a romantic dinner alone. Since all family resorts should have a childcare service available, you can do so.

At the Starfish Trelawny Resort and Spa, featured above, you are given many chances to enjoy "adult," time. Scheduled events take place in the supervised Kids Club. This club closes at 5pm each day, but babysitting is available for after-hours. You will, however, need to pay a small fee.

5 - Other Guests

Unlike adult resorts, family resorts have very few guest restrictions. Individuals of all ages can stay. In fact, guests do not need to be parents. With that said, you will find that most are. Many times, guests at all-inclusive family resorts are parents or those looking to enjoy a peaceful vacation. As a parent, this can give you comfort and peace of mind. Although there are no guarantees, you shouldn't have to worry about a bunch of drunk college students running around past your kids. They likely opted for an adult only resort.

Since many family resort guests are on family vacations just like you, you and your children will have a blast. Not only do you have some the best services and facilities right at your fingertips, but you are paired with travelers just like you. Your children can spend their trip making new friends and you can socialize with other parents.

As you can see, there are a number of benefits to booking a stay at a Jamaica family resort. So what are you waiting for? Visit SuperClubs.com and make your reservations today!
