Binsar Sanctuary is situated 33 km north of Almora town in the Uttarakhand state of India. Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary
Kedarnath sanctuary was established in the year 1972, and is located in Garwal Himalayas. Kedarnath temple situated in the forest reserve, is visited by a large number of pilgrims. The prime attractions of the sanctuary are Snow Leopard, Snow Cock, Tahr, Musk Deer and Serow. The vegetation in the dense forest consist of Chir pine, oak, birch, rhododendrons, in addition with many species of Himalayan flowering plants.
