Binsar Sanctuary

Binsar Sanctuary is situated 33 km north of Almora town in the Uttarakhand state of India. It is famous for its is beautiful, quiet and panoramic Himalayan view, outstanding natural surroundings among dense forest rich in Flora and fauna. Fauna consist of Leopard, Chital, Black Beer, Langur etc and over 200 bird species including Forktail, Blackbirds, Nuthatches and Monal. The place has many species of wild flowers such as Alpine flora, Bryophytes, Pteridophytes and many more.

Askot Sanctuary

Askot Sanctuary is situated 54 km from Pithoragarh near Askot. A majestic hilly areas, surrounded by greenery are sights that lure the tourist to this enchanting canopy of evergreen forest. It inhabits species of mammals such as Snow Leopard, Jungle cat, Civet Cat, Barking Deer, Serow, Goral and Brown Bear, Many species of high altitude birds are existing in the forest.

Govind Pashu Vihar Wildlife Sanctuary

Govind Wildlife was established on March 1, 1955, and is located at Uttarkashi, covering an area of 957 sq km. Gently undulating with snow-capped mountains like Swarg Rohini, Black Peak and Banderpoonch, makes the place a popular tourist destination. The sanctuary offer a fascinating diversity of fauna including Himalayan Black Bears, Tahr, Serow, Chir, Musk Deer, Koklas, Chukor, snoe cock, steepe eagle and many more.

Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary

Kedarnath sanctuary was established in the year 1972, and is located in Garwal Himalayas. Kedarnath temple situated in the forest reserve, is visited by a large number of pilgrims. The prime attractions of the sanctuary are Snow Leopard, Snow Cock, Tahr, Musk Deer and Serow. The vegetation in the dense forest consist of Chir pine, oak, birch, rhododendrons, in addition with many species of Himalayan flowering plants.
