Antibes- France

Antibes located in France is a small city lying on the French Riviera - in french called Cote d´azur which is part of the Mediterranean sea coast. Close cities are Cannes and Nice. Antibes - Juan les Pins is also known as Antibol or Antibo in local languages. Other close riviera towns are Menton, St. Tropez and Monaco.
Located on the old Romanian harbour place, a new yacht marina was built in 1960. It is now largest marina of the French riviera - by total tonage and it also has an international yacht club.
Antibes - Juan les Pins is a part of the department of Alpes Maritimes. It covers a lot of areas including:

- Antibe Vieux or Old Town - Port Vauban - Cap d´Antibes - exlusive area with some beautiful chateaux - Juan les Pins - many nice villas. - Sophia Antipolis ( southern parts)

City and area Tourism:

Visitors can enjoy arts, history, beaches, yachts and more. There are sandy beaches and also beaches of gravel. Beaches are maintained with tractors. Beaches east of Fort Carre are of the original rough material. Also visitors can enjoy a lot of romantic restaurants. Or enjoy Jazz festival or local rallye. People goes not only to hotels but many enjoy their caravan holiday in Antibes. To search event just go offline or check local newspapers.

Cap d´Antibes:

It is a symbol of exclusivity and wealth. The Hotel du Cap is one of the most exclusive and expensive hotels not only in France but also in the world.

There is Phare de la Garoupe (lighthouse) on the highest point of the Cap. It was constructed after Nazis retreated and blew up the old one.
