Florida
On the southeast end of the country is the state of Florida. The state is regarded by many tourists as the gateway to the beautiful beaches in Southern America such as the Bahamas and the Caribbean. But besides serving tourists as a hub for the beach paradise south of the country, Florida also has cities that offer family fun and excitement in any given season.
The capital of Florida is Tallahassee, and it’s a progressive city but not as competitive when compared with the other major cities in the state. Most people travel here because of business. Florida combines business with pleasure as it gives its visitors the ability to enjoy miles of fine sanded beaches while high rise buildings with big businesses are easily accessible. The same also goes for the city of West Palm Beach wherein visitors often come here for business and to have a little bit of fun under the sun. For an exciting family themed vacation, Orlando is undoubtedly the choice. This city is home to not one, but three world renowned resorts: the Walt Disney World, the Universal Orlando and SeaWorld. Going further south will lead you to the island of Key West. Adult themed entertainment is a common sight on this island.
Going to Florida is really easy as it has numerous airports that serve as a stop before going further south. The Miami International Airport is the major airport in Florida as it serves flights that go to Latin America. Orlando Airport is also a major hub providing a gateway for the famous parks in the city. Tallahassee, Fort Lauderdale, Key West and West Palm Beach also operate airports for intercity or interstate connections.
