Honda, which leads the industry in the fuel saving technology with Toyota Motor, said the new hybrid- only car would be a five- seater, five-door car sharing a design concept with its FCX Clarity fuel -cell vehicle. Honda had promised the hybrid -only car for launch some time in 2009 after drastically reducing production costs and making them more affordable for consumers. Toyota, which has pole position in the market with its Prius hybrid-only model, is also rising to slash production costs for future vehicles. Fukui repeated a sales goal of 200,000 units globally for the dedicated hybrid sedan.
Toyota, the world's biggest auto market, is aiming to achieve annual hybrid sales of 1 million vehicles soon after 2010 accounting for roughly one- tenth of its total sales. Honda has a similar goal of hybrid sizing about 10 percent of its fleet. Honda has said it expects to sell more than 4.5 million cars and 18 million motorcycles world wide in 2010. Last year, it sold 3.767 million cars and 13.48 million motorcycles.
A certified second-hand car has been inspected and repaired according to manufacturer terms before being placed on a dealer's used car lot. Even though manufacturer's programs vary in specifics, all are essentially the same. Before cars can be specialized, it must be a behind schedule model, have low mileage, and have no major damage. Then all cars is inspected according to a complete checklist that may contain or some extra points of examination, including steam engine and communication, lights, airbags, power equipment, fluids, exhaust system, deferment, brakes, battery, tires and wheels, paint, trim, windows, doors, belts, hoses, alarm system, and more equipment car parts. Constant less vital cars part product such as wipers, mirrors, interior lights, radio, gauges, and carpets and more extra item can be on the list.
A road test is classically performed to make sure there are no noises, vibrations, and squeaks that need notice. Certified Second hand cars are naturally offered with warranties, even though the type of warranty and exposure can vary by manufacturer or dealers. Some basically make longer new-car warranties on their certified vehicles. There is also generally a mileage limit that generally ends at 100, 00 miles, but could be a lesser amount of, depending on the series. Dealers are aggravated to sell certified second hand cars because it makes customer happy — and because they make a superior profit than on non-certified second hand cars. Dealers must spend time and money doing certification inspections and maintenance. And extensive warranties cost money. For that reason, customers who buy certified used cars can look ahead to pay somewhat higher prices for the extra peace of mind. The fact that sales of certified pre owned cars have been progressively increasing says that many automotive consumers consider it a price worth paying. There are also self-determining pre owned used-car dealers who offer such programs, but be responsive that these programs are not sponsored by a foremost automaker and may not be of the same values. Therefore, use concern when buying "certified cars" from autonomous pre owned cars used-car dealers.
