National Kids Fest Conjures Up Some Magic

With so much to do at Silver Dollar City's National Kids Fest, where shall I begin? Poof. How about the Peter Gossamer Magic Show at the Opera House this summer, through August 10th? I've never seen a magic show quite like this one. Peter Gossamer brings a new twist to the stage with his great sense of humor and a comedic performance that is just plain fun, plus he'll leave your mind boggled with his incredulous magic.
I left the show asking "how did he do that?" He's been described as one of the world's greatest illusionists, and he seems to be a chip off the old Harry Houdini block. As seen on "The World's Greatest Magic 5", Gossamer's Magic combines original concepts and a fresh approach to the art of illusion with comedic vignettes and a charismatic personality for a truly amazing performance. Personally, I think the all new Ice Circus is super cool. When the big top comes to life, I like to think of it as the greatest show on ice, with all the fun of the circus: hilarious clowns, elaborate animal costuming, stunning silk aerialists, fire and shadow juggling and even skaters on stilts.
At National Kids Fest, you get all that plus Championship Cloggers, banana split eating contests and over 30 other rides and attractions including barn-busting fun at The Giant Swing, the high-speed, multi-looping WildFire®, the corkscrew curves of Thunderation, the white river rapids of The Lost River of the Ozarks and PowderKeg® - launching from zero to breathless in 2.8 seconds! At Silver Dollar City, there is truly something for everyone, and family fun reigns supreme. Even your little tykes get some action with any of the ten family rides at The Grand Exposition or an interactive adventure at the World's Largest Treehouse at Geyser Gulch® and Splash Harbor. See your toddlers sprint at record pace just to get in line at these fun rides. Silver Dollar City theme park has events and activities all season, and with such a long list of things, you'll want to snag updates from their panel of moms running the MomsBlog at www(dot)silverdollarcityblog(dot)com to get the inside scoop on shows, lodging and mega fun kid stuff. Plus you can pose your personal travel and kid-related questions directly to the Moms themselves.

The native groups of Sabah have been using rafts for centuries but white water rafting has only been a recreational activity since the 1980s.
The two main rivers for rafting in Sabah are the Padas and Kiulu rivers which are certified as Grade 3 and Grade 2 respectively in the international white water rafting grading system.
