Nottingham is a rich and beautiful city, steeped in the famous English folklore of Robin Hood and his Merry Men. It offers plenty of entertainment options for both locals and tourists. The nightlife simply rocks! Choose from among the hundreds of bars and night clubs, restaurants and shops, theatre, music and sports facilities. Nottingham offers the same pleasures as big cities like London and Manchester but at a very reasonable price.

Nightclubs and Bars: Owing to a large number of students in the city, there are bars and nightclubs to suit every taste, mood and pocket. Choose from underground music such as heavy techno and drum and bass, rhythm and blues, cheese and trance. For grooving to the beats of world class DJs there is Gatecrasher. Oceania, with 3 bars, 2 full size clubs, a restaurant and a VIP section, provides six different kinds of experiences to the club enthusiasts. Stealth offers a mind blowing Drum n Bass experience.

There are inexpensive student bars like Templars and Varsity. Friendly bars like the Muse offer service with a smile and a great selection of spirits from across the world. Pitcher & Piano is an upbeat bar set up in a converted church in the busy area of The Lace Market. A bit heavy on the rates, the lively and sophisticated ambience is worth every penny. Just the Tonic, a comedy club, offers the best laughs in Nottingham.

Other entertainment: If nightclubs and bars are not your scene, don't fret. There is a lot more that you can do. Grab a game of Ice Hockey at the National Ice Arena or watch a movie at the Warner Brother's Village Cinema. Check out what is playing at the Trent Arena FM Nottingham, the Royal Concert Hall, Royal Theatre or the Nottingham Castle. There is plenty on show -- world class orchestras, West End musicals, classical music, ballets, plays and operas. The daring ones can go for a spine chilling experience at the haunted Galleries of Justice beneath the County Jail.

The Lace Market, Hockey Village, the Waterfront and Castle area, Corner House and Old Market Square area offer a delightful array of shops, galleries, restaurants, karaoke bars, pubs, pavement cafes and comedy clubs. Most bars and nightclubs are open till midnight and are accessible by taxi and local buses. With so much culture and fun in Nottingham, there is never a dull moment!

Whether you can be sure of having a wonderful time ! One thing is for sure, whatever you are planning for your break away - Nottingham has it all. So why not come and stay with us here at the Comfort Hotel Nottingham, where a warm welcome awaits you. And take advantage of some superb value for money leisure break, bed & breakfast or dinner, bed & breakfast packages.
