Portland, Oregon Events: Family’s Day Out

You never know if you are going to discover unknown talent when you purchase art work at the Portland Art Festival.

Portland Taste Test

If you want to get a true taste of Portland, you can do so at the annual Portland Taste Test. Like other tasting festivals, this Portland, Oregon event will give you a chance to sample the foods from the local restaurants, most of which participate in this event. This event usually takes place the second weekend in August and has more than 100 different exhibitors. In addition to the taste fest, there is also a midway for rides and games. If you happen to visit Portland in August, you will want to take advantage of the Portland Taste Test. You can sample a bit of the restaurant fare of Portland for a small amount of what it would cost you to make a dinner reservation and have a good time.

Jazz Festival

The Portland Jazz Festival takes place during Labor Day weekend every year in Portland. If you like Jazz music, you will enjoy visiting the Portland Jazz Festival. You can purchase tickets for the entire weekend so that you can see all of the acts, or you can just choose to go for one day. Some of the best local jazz acts will be on hand to play at this annual festival that draws thousands of jazz enthusiasts each year.

There is much to see and do when you visit Portland, Oregon. No matter what time of the year you decide to visit this city, you will find plenty to do by way of Portland, Oregon events.
