You’ve spent hours Feng Shui-ing your home, why not get the benefits of Feng Shui from your hotel room too! Heading to Vegas? You’ll need luck! Romantic getaway? Inspire love! Business trip? Prosperity is the key! Using the Black Hat Tantric Method of Feng Shui, and a little guidance from Feng Shui décor expert, Catherine Ballas of Catherine Design and her Feng Shui Travel kit, this can easily be applied to your hotel room.

Catherine’s Feng Shui travel kit includes that following tips that begin the moment you enter your hotel room. As you open the door of your hotel or condo unit, remember the simple method of the Bagua, and encompass the room with that perspective. Directly within the front door, you will be standing in career, then health, followed by fame and fortune. To your left lies skills and knowledge, followed by family, and finally prosperity. To your right; helpful people and travel followed by creativity and children. In the back right corner are relationships and love. Now that you know which areas you are working with, a clearing ceremony is necessary to rid any negative energy left behind by past guests. “I like clapping into all areas, putting my hands like an alligator’s mouth and moving the energy in the room.” Candles, specially chosen incenses and treatments are included in Catherine’s travel kit to assist with clearing the space.

After you have completed the steps from the travel kit, start unpacking. Always place your shoes facing out of the closet as if you have somewhere to go. Try to keep the clutter down, try to have a place for everything, and also put suitcases away. As for the bathroom, which is always a trick in Feng Shui, keep the toilet seat down with the lid closed. Always keep the bathroom door closed- you don’t want any of your luck, prosperity, or love going down the toilet. Put the special enhancements, from the kit, in the proper areas which are clearly explained inside and enjoy.

The bagua shows you the 9 areas of life and where their importance lies. I have created a Feng Shui travel kit that includes everything you need to dispel, cleanse, and re-energize the area and set up the room for the best benefits toward your trip, be it business or pleasure. To luck, love, and prosperity- Catherine can be reached through her website at www.catherinedesign.com.
