You can enjoy the beauty of the Kaçkar Mountains around Rize, without having to care about the organisation. You fly to Trabzon, to the north coast of Turkey. There already awaits you a van, which brings you to a hotel in a so called “good touristic class” (comparable with 3-star) in Ayder. You will not forget the really tasty Turkish kitchen, the heartfelt hospitality and the constructive climate. Turkey is on the best way to reach the European standards, without loosing its own, oriental atmosphere. Btw., you will experience this also outside the tourist locations.
Ayder has the ideal conditions; the calm village invites you already early in the morning to an exploration tour. After a tasty Turkish breakfast you can determine you day’s target. On one day you just relax and have a good time and listen to the birds’ musical round dance under a parasol. For the excursions we have a van available, also we walk over old cart trails, which have from ancient times been the only connecting paths for man and animals, or we simply raft a short way and watch the panorama from the level of the surface. At an average all walking time together take a few hours. You can freely choose the category – from easy to difficult. For all who are not so sure on their feet, there mostly exists an alternative transportation possibility. You’ll be back in the afternoon, which means you still have all the time to relax. Btw., there are two excursions to the historic authentic cities Trabzon and Rize.
