India is a country which is famous for his culture and tradition in all over world. India is the seventh-largest country in the world and the second most populous country after China. The capital of India is New Delhi and the largest cities are Mumbai, Delhi, kolkata and Chennai. There are many famous monuments in India. It includes forts, temples, tombs, Palaces, Caves and pavilions etc. Taj Mahal, Agra, is the most famous of all India's ancient buildings and a prime monument of Mughal art. Taj Mahal is the seventh wonder of the world.
Red fort, gateway of India, Ajanta caves, Hawa Mahal, Golden temple, Shirdi temple, Tirupati Temple etc. these are the some important places of India. A lot of visitors came to India for visit these places from all over the world. All facilities are also available here for visitors. So visitors can visit freely without any tension. Indian people are also good and helpful. In India, Today also believed that The Guest is like a God.
Mumbai’s most famous monument is Gateway of India. It is situated in South Mumbai, in Maharashtra district, India. The Gateway of India is synonymous with Mumbai as Statue of Liberty is with New York. It was built with yellow stone in Indo- Saracenic style to memorialize the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai in 1911. It has since become the symbol of Twentieth century of Indian history. It is also remembered, as the point from where the last British troops left the shores of independent India. The Gateway of India was built at Apollo Bunder, a popular meeting place.
