This is necessary, not only as it counts towards their 100 logged hours required for the driving license to be granted, but also gives them the chance to gain as much practice as is needed to become a safe, competent and confident driver. The role of parents in helping to teach their child to drive is a critical one, and at Rightway Driving School we can help to advise and assist parents in making their role as a supervising driver an effective and safe one. We understand that your role is not to be a professional driving instructor, but you can play a vital role in helping to provide them with the practice that they need while minimising the cost of driving lessons as you add to their level of competency.  At Rightway Driving School we can advise you on a number of issues when taking to the passenger seat of your child’s car. Here are some examples: <ul> <li>Don’t immediately feel that you have to act as an instructor – that is our job.
