The first coffee shop of Prague was opened at the beginning of the 18th century by Deotodus Damascenus, who brought the coffee over from Damascus. Lucerna coffee shop

This was the first permanent theatre of Prague. Special guest such as Yves Montand, Maurice Chevalier, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong have all performed here.
