In Halifax celebrations over these four days include the 250th anniversary of the Naval Port. As ships sail out on Monday, July 20th they will partake in the Parade of Sails, a spectacular event not to be missed. Visitors to Tall Ships are invited to board these magnificent vessels. Crossing the gangway is like crossing into a different time.

There is something surreal about standing at the bow of these grand ships, the harbor on one side, a world away, and the ocean on the other, beckoning you to raise the sails and disappear into the horizon.
