Writing and submitting articles about your vacation rental is the cheapest and most cost effective form of advertising a property owner can do to increase traffic to his/her property listing.
Article writing increases traffic to your listing as it is picked up by several travel and vacation websites and blogs through our RSS (really simple syndication) feed and creates quality back links to your property listing, which is important in increasing organic web traffic (search engine optimization).
Article writing is also very cost effective as you can write your own vacation rental articles for FREE or hire a freelance writer for just a few dollars an article.
You do not need to be an expert writer, just write at least 4 articles (seasonal) annually and they may be a long or short as you wish, but 400-600 words are best.

Make your vacation rental article visually appealing and include 1 quality photo with your article. Your article should be no larger than 400x400 pixels.
Ok, you have your FREE, well written, keyword optimized vacation rental article and quality photo, where can you have your article published for FREE? Our vacation blog, YTB Travelmore World Travel and Vacations Blog accepts articles with photos. Email your articles and photos to our webmaster.
You may also submit your article to several FREE article directories, such as www(dot)amazines(dot)com, these are the article directories I use in addition to my own vacation blogs. These article directories will not accept photos, but are effective just the same.
