Because they dont have any knowledge of  lease hire and thats is where we come in handy.In lease hire  first you have to have the statistics of your movements and establish how many hours you spend on flying in amonth,how much cargo you airlift and passengers even if you are using  commercial flights ascertain the cost.Once you have done this, approach an air charter company for a proposal and compare then make a decission based on the gathered information. In lease hire you have to commit  anumber of hours for acertain period,which gives you an advantage ,when you fly more than the minimum guaranteed hours the rate per hour drops not like the adhoc flights where you just fly and dont get incentives.Normally for  10,12,18 seater the minimum guaranteed hours per month is 70 hrs for a period of not less than 3 month after which the 71 hrs the rate drops with approximatley usd 30 per hour.These aircrafts are convertable from passengers to cargo and this gives you options whereby you can go with afew passengers with cargo or vise visa.The  10 seater and 12 seater can carry upto 1tonne and 18 seater 1.5 tonnes of cargo.For  3 tonnes  upto  9 tonnes we will require minimum 120 hrs guaranteed within aperiod of not less than 3 month which is convertable to cargo and passengers. What is the advantage? You enter into acontract with us for the exclussive use of the aircraft and you get other firms operating in the same locality who are unable to lease and form a consortium and you will realize you will fly more and benefit as when you hit the minimum guaranteed hours the extra hour will go for a different rate that is it will drop and that is where you will make some money.Lease hire is charged in two ways dry or wet lease.
