This world is replete of travel destinations; if someone has decided to go to world tour then he will take lots of time as well the money at his disposal. One of the finest places in the world is Barcelona. Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia. It is situated in the North Eastern corner of Spain. The city is situated on the Mediterranean Sea. It enjoys an enjoyable warm climate all year round .Also it is the largest beach city in Europe. Catalan is the approved language of Barcelona. The city has two major airports, Barcelona Girona Airport in the North, which is roughly speaking 100 kilometers from the city and Barcelona International airport, 13 kilometers from the city centre. Travel period is 40 minutes from the international airport and around 1 hour and 10 minutes from Girona Airport .Airports can be accessed by an outstanding bus shuttle service and, there is a train service from the International airport that takes a person to the city and runs every 30 minutes. The other option is taxi which is much more suitable when a person is traveling with a lot of luggage.
If someone is in Barcelona, and if he wants to travel in the city for visiting someone then metro system is the easiest, quickest and safest way to get around the city which was overhauled and improved before the Olympics, which were held in the city in 1992. Everyone could purchase tickets which allowed them unlimited travel throughout the city in an economical way. If someone prefers to stay above ground there are many open top bus services that follow regular site seeing routes. They are a bit more costly than using the metro but a person will be able to get a good tan whilst traveling around the city, but these are excellent as all the operators run circular routes meaning that the next bus is never more than forty minutes away. If someone is in view of driving, then he should expect to have nothing short of minor heart or panic attacks on a recurring basis as the city streets are extremely busy with traffic that seems to travel at frighteningly quick .The frequent barrage of horns gives the city the typical backdrop of sound, often associated with major Spanish cities. This beautiful and bustling city will always leave a person craving to come back to visit again and again regardless of whichever way someone decide to travel to and around Barcelona.
