Yes Vehicle Tracking has won a contract with Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream to install 26 vehicle tracking units into their fleet of ice cream and delivery vans.
Mandy Rogers, of the homemade ice cream company had approached a number of vehicle tracking companies, but upon seeing an online demonstration of Yes Vehicle Tracking’s fleet management software, was very impressed with its simplicity and ease of use.
Yes Vehicle Tracking has also installed Driver ID into each of the ice cream vans, one of the many ‘boltons’ that can be provided as extras in addition to their vehicle tracking solution.
Mandy commented, “This was important as we have a number of drivers who may not always use the same vehicle at an event or show. The reporting side was also important; Yes Vehicle Tracking’s software does exactly what we require.”
The company have been selling ice cream in and around the Yorkshire Dales for around 60 years. The ice cream is made at their farm which also houses their fleet. Between March and October they are busy attending various shows and events from agricultural shows to corporate events and exhibitions. In addition, their own brand of ice cream, which comes in various varieties and flavours, is sold in shops and supermarkets across the country.
