I was looking for ways that I could downgrade my psp my brother accidentally upgraded to 3.71 and some of my games weren’t working anymore and I needed to get it downgraded back to 1.5
I was looking for ways that I could do this without any risk to my psp. I had always prided myself in remembering not to upgrade my psp but I forgot to tell my brother as he always uses it as well.
Anyway after searching the net all I could find were guides that didn’t work on my psp. I tried everything to get my psp back to a working 1.5 but everything I tried did not succeed. I tried forums and all the answers there didn’t help. I think I must have tried every webpage on the net related to downgrading my psp.
I eventually found a website which was kindly emailed to me from a friend who had been through the same problem and thought that what he done might help my situation. So I took a look at the website and it was for an ebook guide entitled download psp downgrade which I thought was a bit general and might not suit my needs.
I spoke to my friend and he said he used it for a downgrade of 3.71 to 1.5. The thing that put me off was that they were wanting $20 for it but at the end of the day if this sorted my problem out then that would be $20 well spent.
So I paid my money and was able to download the psp downgrade guide instantaneously which meant I could start right away. I read through the guide from cover to cover and it seemed pretty straight forward.
I started the guide and followed the instructions step by step at the end of the guide I had to reboot the system. When it came back up there is was the fully installed 1.5 firmware version. I must say it was the best $20 I spent. All my games are working again and my brother has been warned not to touch my psp without me being there so hopefully it will be plain sailing in the future.
