Fixing the Xbox 360 3 red lights can be a hassle.  Especially when you're not sure why it has the red ring of death and what you can do about it.  So, what I'm going to do is share with you three methods on how to fix Xbox 360 3 red lights.  That way, you will be able to start back playing your Xbox and all of your favorite games.

The 3 methods for fixing the lights are:

1.  The first thing you can do to repair the problem is to do the towel method.  To do this, wrap your Xbox with a couple of towels.  Make sure you keep your Xbox on.  After about twenty minutes, remove the towels and turn your game system.  When you turn it back on, it should work fine.  But I do want to warn you, doing this could permanently damage your game console.

2.  Another tip on how to fix Xbox 360 3 red lights is to get Microsoft to repair it.  Microsoft will fix the red ring of death for free if the game console is under warranty.  If it's not under warranty, it will cost you about $100 to get Microsoft to repair it.  And it'll take them several weeks to repair it.

3.  The best way to repair the 3 red lights is to do it yourself by using a guide that's proven to work.  It's east and simple to do.  And it'll only take you about an hour to fix it.  The only thing you will need is a few household tools.  A little sister or mom can even repair the red lights by using the repair guide.
