Most of us have already suffered from the Red Ring of Death (RROD) by switching on our Xbox 360 one day and seeing three little flashing red lights surrounding the power button on the front of your console.

Although at first it may seem like the end of the world because your gaming comes to a complete stop, there is a solution to the problem which can almost eliminate it for life.

Unfortunately, the Red Ring of Death can still rear its ugly head after you fix your Xbox 360, but with the knowledge of how to fix your console and using the proper preventive techniques those red rings will not look as bad ever again.

The cause for the dreaded RROD is the simple fact of your Xbox 360 overheating and not being able to keep up with your gaming. The Xbox 360 console is an amazing machine that puts some of the best video games today on your TV screen, but it does come with the price of the RROD. A great way to prevent getting the RROD is by keeping your console by a window and not all cluttered together with a bunch of other devices.
